DTN Weather Summary

Bryce Anderson image
Bryce Anderson – DTN Meteorologist
Most Crop Areas Dry Monday

Light to moderate rain is in store for the south-central Plains, southern Midwest and Delta Monday. Other primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop regions will be dry. Temperatures will be seasonal in the Prairies and Midwest, and hot elsewhere; however, values will not be as stressful as a week ago. Conditions remain generally favorable for row crop development and spring wheat harvest. Internationally, persistent late-season rain in Europe wheat areas is having a negative effect on quality at harvest. » More DTN Weather Commentary
